Welcome to Emerald Christian University
Emerald Christian University is an online Christian university. By accessing or using our services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of the Terms then you do not have permission to access the Service.
These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Emerald Christian University1 (“we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to all use of our Services, including exams, study programs, and related materials (delivered electronically or otherwise). You must accept these Terms before creating an account or accessing Services. By using the Services, you represent that all submitted information is true, and you have read and understand these Terms. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after posting changes constitutes acceptance.
Emerald Christian University is seeking religious exemption from licensure pursuant to §1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes.
Services are licensed to you (not sold), subject to payment of fees and acceptance of these Terms. You may not assign, transfer, share, sell, sublicense, or disclose your access credentials or any Service content (including exam questions/answers) to third parties. Violations may lead to account termination, revocation of credentials, reporting to schools/employers/regulators/law enforcement, and legal action. We may suspend or terminate access without notice for non-payment or suspected breach. Upon termination, you must cease all use and remain liable for unpaid amounts. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Services at any time without liability.
We affirm the inspiration of Scripture (Old and New Testaments) as final authority; one God in three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit); deity, virgin birth, atonement, resurrection, and exclusive salvation through Jesus Christ; salvation by repentance/faith; resurrection of just/unjust; literal Second Coming; universal and local church fellowship.
We admit students regardless of race, color, or national/ethnic origin and do not discriminate in educational programs/activities.
Students may cancel enrollment within three (3) working days of enrollment and receive a full refund of amounts paid. Thereafter, students may withdraw by written notice, and applicable refunds will be calculated on an equitable prorated basis through at least the first 20% of the applicable course period. Properly disclosed nonrefundable fees may be retained as permitted by Florida law. Refunds due will be issued within 30 days.
Emerald Christian University offers tuition-free Christian higher education for qualified individuals. See Tuition-Free and Fees page for details.
Emerald Christian University does not participate in federal student financial-aid programs or provide institutional student loans. Students are responsible only for the fees disclosed before enrollment.
Transfer Credits to Emerald Christian University
Students may transfer up to a maximum of 18 credits into a Diploma program at Emerald Christian University. Courses with a grade of C- or higher are generally transferable.
Life Experience Credits
A maximum of 9 credit hours can be applied to appropriate courses for this program and can be any combination of credit and non-credit education, ministry experience, church involvement, training conferences, and prior teaching and accomplishments.
Experiential Learning Course Exams
Students with prior ministry experience may take the Experiential Learning Course Exams (ELCE) and earn up to 6 credit hours toward appropriate courses in this program. A passing score of 60% or higher awards credit for the corresponding course.
One-month intensive courses must be completed within 30 days (starting Monday 8:00 AM EST and ending on the same day the next month at 11:59 PM EST). Incomplete courses receive an “I” (Incomplete), and re-enrollment may incur applicable fees. Students must continuously enroll in a new one-month intensive course each month until all program requirements are met.
All awards (diplomas, certificates, transcripts) are issued electronically to the email on your student account.
Verifications (enrollment or award) are sent by email and may include relevant details (name, program, award date, GPA).
Students must maintain academic integrity and comply with University policies. Violations, including cheating, plagiarism, falsification, or misuse of University systems, may result in warning, loss of credit, suspension, or dismissal. Students will be given an opportunity to respond when appropriate.
Students may appeal an academic, administrative, financial, or disciplinary decision by submitting a written request explaining the basis of the appeal. The University will review the matter and provide its decision.
Students may submit complaints in writing through the University’s Contact page. Emerald Christian University will review the complaint and provide an appropriate response. Students will not be penalized for submitting a good-faith complaint.
Emerald Christian University does not provide employment-placement services and does not guarantee employment, ministry placement, promotion, salary, or other employment outcomes.
Emerald Christian University’s religious programs are not designed to satisfy Florida professional or occupational licensure requirements. Completion of a University program does not, by itself, qualify a student for state licensure.
